Seeing how much talk got started in the Rumble Vegas post, I figured id start this thread. We can discuss past or present wrestling in here as well as talk about Raw, SD ,iMPACT or the latest PPV.

cough cough.... sry when was it great. I like or should say respect like HS and college wrestling just cause it actually real... My HS was really good sent 3 to 7 players to illinois state wrestling. thats cool. Thats real. Biggest Name that wrestled for my HS was probably Matt Roth. Currently playing for the Miami Dauphins. He also dominated at Iowa in college. Thats real wrestling not the steriod induced rage heads that are bad actors for the most part... However i do think "The Rock" has made a great transition. Not saying hes going to win any awards but i dont mind a few of his movies..

John Cena's not the worst actor, either.
Eh, I wrestled last year, freshman year. Posted an above .500 record. Have gotten better, but didn't wrestle this season because it's just not my thing. You can't really have a life outside of wrestling during the winter. nearly 3 hour practices every night and every saturday(sometimes friday) is wrestling all day.Plus I hate watching my weight. I only weigh 8 pounds more than I wrestled at last season but it's more the 2 tenths of a pound every day that piss me off.
But the kid that wrestled behind me last year got like 2nd I think at a 28-team SW Ohio tournament at Milford(just for you Ohio people, if you know where Milford is.. I wrestled that tournament last year and I dont remember where it is..). I'm still mad I didn't get to wrestle the best of the sw at graham last year cause I had impetigo. ugh.

Give me some WCW Nitro over anything being done today. That was when wrestling was great.

Everytime WCW would come to Dallas Id be there. For my wedding, we went to Vegas to get married back in 98' and I coincided it with Halloween Havoc at the MGM Grand. Hogan VS Warrior II baby. As for the crap they got right now... meh. Now its funny, but I was flipping through channels tonight after the draft, and direct tv channel 98 which is an HD channel, had the Royal Rumble on for Free. Not sure why. But I watch the Jeff Hardy/Randy Orton match(not that great, Orton is so small since he was forced off roids) and I got to see the Rumble. All in glorious HD. It was a beautiful picture. Rumble was good, still wanted my boy HBK to win it all. Cena winning from 30 sucked.
I was impressed by this one kid though. I have already forgotten his name but hes the Mizs tag team partner. Kid looks good.
I have actually spent some time in the Wrestling biz, and it takes alot to impress me. If you ever want that story, AIM me sometime and we can discuss.

There aren't many people that impress me anymore. Watch for Kofi Kingston, I dunno if he's done anything in WWE yet, but he was great in indy wrestling. Same with Jimmy Yang. I used to love watching him when he would make appearances in HWA.
From WWE.com, Mizs partner is Morrison. He's not too bad, I've always liked him, especially since he went solo without whoever he was with before.
And believe it or not, Cena is a great wrestler. He knows his stuff, he was great in indy wrestling, but I guess WWE doesn't let him be a wrestler.

John Cena got plucked from Vince McMahons manhunter show or whatever it was called. He had a good look and was buff... they tried to teach him to wrestle... still not super impressed... although tonight he looked alot like Popeye with those freaking fake looking arms.... he reminded me of Robin Williams in Popeye. WOW.

WCW was the best, without question.
Now, I'm a big fan of TNA... Been fun over the years seeing some of the Monday Night Wars era wrestlers getting the spotlight again, and now watching this young talent come up has been real nice.
WWE will never, I repeat, NEVER use Jimmy Yang to his full capabilities. He's teaming up with Shannon Moore right now. Come on.
What ever happened to the cruiserweight division? Put Jimmy in it and let him do his thing.

No argument here about well anything you said, although you know through aim chats we think alike with wrestling. wwe should honestly just release all cruisers. None have ever been used right, and I do mean ever.

I've heard some rumors about a second show for TNA featuring the X-Division .. Would really help the chances of that happening if you add in some of the talented cruiserweights such as Jimmy Yang, Shannon Moore, Gregory Helms, Jamie Noble, Brian Kendrick and Paul London.
Now, that's obviously never going to happen.
So while TNA and WWE are trying to convince MMA athlete Bob Sapp to jump to professional wrestling, why doesn't TNA shift its attention to Mistico? Have you ever seen this guy? Puts WWE Rey Mysterio to shame.
