i dont think archuletta will be a star when its said and done. I do think the show is fading a bit and i think he will continue that streak. Ill say he wins and i agree teeny bobbers and older women will unite and push arch to the win but david cook will sell more and be bigger star. people that buy the music IMO are in Cooks demographic not archeletas IMO.

well its almost a shoe in for both Davids to make it to the finals. Each week Cook gives me a slight hope that he can beat Archie in the finals. It all depends on what songs they sing and how they arrange the universal song. We will see.

Archuleta could be a star depending how he is marketed. I am not the typical person who would buy his music, but he has such a great voice, I would consider it depending how it is presented. Cook is pretty good, but I don't think he sets himself apart from others out there. Archuleta has the potential to be a groundbreaking talent if given the right style. Nobody out there has the pure singing talent he does, males anyway.
One thing we do know, Archuleta singing Chris Brown last night was bad. Not because he did a bad job, but the whole time I just sat there saying "this is weird." It's a good song that sounded awkward coming from him.
Syesha was not that great, and didn't do enough to overtake either David. She had a big hole as far as fan votes to overcome and she didn't do it.

I agree. One thing we tend to forget about Archuletta... hes just 17 years old. The male voice gets stronger and much better with age. By the time hes 30 he should be so much better than he is now its not even funny. I just dont know his genre. Is he going to sing sappy love songs all his life? It worked for Neil Diamond and Josh Groben so far.... I think once the AI PR machine gets rolling, he will have every great songwriter in the world sending him stuff to sing and he wont have a choice but to pick some good stuff.
I agree with Cook. He is like a hundred other Emo acts out there trying to be hard. I dont think hes quite as talented as Daughtery... but he is much more talented than Taylor Hicks... I think he could fall somwhere in between the two of them. Which isnt a bad place to be for the guy. If he beats Archuletta next week I will be shocked.
This season as been pretty anticlimatic. We kindaknew who the final 2 would be since week one. Now is when it should get good. No more holding back. Let it all loose. Should be fun.

Archie will win this thing tomorrow by a landslide. Cook was ok, but Archuletta destroyed him. Anyone want to bet some ATCs on the outcome?

Cook said it in the start of the show that it was already over. He didnt even care about being the better singer last night. He knows that he already will be the bigger talent in the whole scheme of things. Archuletta needs the title as winner more than Cook needs it. Archuletta is a better singer, but Cook by far is a better "talent"

See I think Cook is just another decent rocker. He might be able to sell, but he isn't unique. Archuleta has better "upside" if he finds the perfect gig.

i just think its going to be very hard to place Archeleta in the right gig. Slower sappy love songs i guess. Maybe re singer older songs that arnt fast like beatles and such. Cook isnt one of a kind i agree but i could see myself buying some of his stuff similar to daughtry. i personally am alot less likly to own anything archeleta.
