1. SF Bill Walker, Trail Blazers
24.8 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 3.8 APG, 1.8 SPG
He's really controlling this young team during his rookie campaign. There isn't a stat on his sheet that could make you cringe. He leads the Blazers in Points and Steals.
2. SG Eric Gordon, Heat
20.8 PPG, 7 RPG, 4 APG, 1.5 TPG
He's taken over as the Heat's leading scorer. Nice amount of rebounds from a guard. Only 1.5 turnovers a game, nice handling from the workhorse. Only four assists, but Darren Collison is getting 8.7, so it's not hurtful.
3. PG D.J. Augustin, Trail Blazers
20.2 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 8.3 APG, 1.1 SPG, 1.6 TPG
Augustin is doing much better than expected, adding over 20 points a night to Walker's near 25. The only thing I think he needs help working on is to possibly add on to his assists total, which there should definitely be more of with scorers like Hibbert, Walker, and Oden sharing the court with him. The 1.6 turnovers is also a solid mark from a rookie running the point.
4. C DeAndre Jordan, Clippers
12.7 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 3.4 APG, 2.7 SPG, 1.7 TPG
I'm still not sure he's quite #1 overall material, but he's doing a solid job for the Clippers. Not the scorer they would like, either, but his 2.7 Steals to 1.7 Turnovers is great from a C. He's also been great collecting the boards
5. PG Jerryd Bayless, Pacers
16.6 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 6.8 APG, 1 SPG, 2.3 TPG
His numbers are solid, but could definitely use some work. The points per game are solid, but running the point, his assists totals should be well over the 6.8 he's currently averaging. He needs to work on his handling, you can't afford to have your PG losing 2.3 a night.
