Just wondering where their stats came from. Is it just their stat line for their last year in school?
On a different note, how accurate are the grades of players? Are they like commish level in PSBL or is there some fluctuation? I didn't notice much change over the course of the season.

Well, there is a Fast Break College Basketball game that I simmed the draft file, so the stats are the numbers they put up in college.
HOWEVER
The output of players doesn't match the talent level that I want for this league, so I edited every single player by hand. Also, some guys were created from scratch, like Chris Paul, Julian Wright, etc...guys who were not part of the 2008 college season.
WITH THAT SAID
The numbers on draftees are meaningless. A guy could put up 1 point a game and be the most talented player because of how the computer sims the lineups. My advice would be to ignore college stats.
As for grades of players, all the grades are real. Potential fluctuates slightly at times, but all in all, the grades are what you see. They will change drastically once people start adding ATC's and after we sim training camp, that is when guys improve and their potential lowers.

Yea, just one thing to consider is that the grades are composites of the really really meaningful grades in the game (listed in the ATC thread). So if they have a good defense rating, they might be great at blocking shots, but poor at stopping drives or something. It's a pretty nice system that I've seen in two different basketball sims now.

Brad is right, and when you add ATC's, just ask, I will guide you what to put points in to get grades to a certain level.
