why are there such drastic differences in home and away records? there should be slight differences but basically all teams are under .500 on the road. even some of the leagues best like the bobcats and blazers are under .500 on the road. its not this drastic in the NBA so i just wonder why the game values it so much or whatever?

ive got 15 wins thats horrid but im 11-13 at home and 4-26 on the road. LOL i have noticed a slight weirdness to that. Im ok with it THIS SEASON but i do hope i get a bit better over time. Seriously 4-26 is REALLY REALLY BAD.

also find it funny that like in your example you have played same number of road games but 20 more home games then me.... thats just funny. i know ill catch up its just kinda weird. NOT THE NBA. Hell i think this is better at least more fun.

I haven't actually compared it to the real NBA, but there are usually drastic differences in home and away records in the NBA.
Usually the top teams only lose 4-5 games at home and end up with 10-15 losses on the road.

which is drastically different then this league. the blazers and bobcats, as my example, already have that many losses on the road

That seems to be a fluke. I usually watch the records and they've been more in line with what Denver has this year than Portland and Charlotte. Of course it is just a sim game so sometimes these flukes can happen.

I actually think it's very realistic. Home teams in the NBA have a HUGE advantage.

I actually think it's very realistic. Home teams in the NBA have a HUGE advantage. I wonder why since you can't build a team to play better on one court then another. Are NBA players such mental ninnies that they can't play well if the crowd is not cheering for them?

Interesting question, of the the MLB, NBA, and NFL only the MLB could be considered of having a "slight" homefield advantage. The NBA and NFL have significant advantages at home.
I guess you'd have to say that the cheering crowds motivate the home teams or the jeering crowds distract the visitors.

i think baseball SHOULD have biggest advantage. all sports have crazy fans but for football and basketball the playing field esentially same minus say turf or grass in football. baseball nothing uniform. can stack your team for your field... coores get more hitters sandiego get better pitchers. boston has the wall or the basket at wrigley. Those are real advantages screw waving foam fingers at opponents at the free throw line. JUST MY TWO CENTS....

You'd think men 20-45 could play basketball without worrying about fans..
