I had always planned on doing a NBL Hall of Fame and would just like to know what everyone thinks the first year should be when we start to induct players and GM's into the NBL Hall of Fame. Personally I have a time already set in my mind, but that can always change...

I thought after this year, the 5th, would be good. But tenth works.

I say after this season. Ten seasons is a long ways away. The earlier we get started the easier its going to be in my opinion.

I think it would be dumb to do it based on real life stats and not NBL stats since this is the NLB hall of fame so after 5 years I doubt we have too many guys with a lot of NLB stats that are retired.

Yeah if its going to be based on the NBL stats and We wouldnt be voting for guys that still play i find it hard to believe that many would get in. If there were worthy guys then im all for starting it after this yr but im kinda drawing a blank on who we could possibly elect. Jason Kidd Billups and Camby come to mind but there CAREER NBL stats arnt GREAT cause only really in the league how many years. I think we will have more choices in say another 3 to 5 yrs and then if OLDER Previous guys can be inducted then great..... Now on a side note IF we are including REAL STATS to those NBL stats IF POSSIBLE then i say lets get er done after this yr. Id love to look at the guys that have retired over last 3 or four yrs with there combined stats and get some sort of voting system in order. I mean if we voted in two to 5 or more members a yr starting this yr with guys already retired IF INCLUDING previous stats we would have a tun of worthy talent. Oneal (i personally hate but deserves roconition) Kidd, camby to name a few. I think we need to really think about how this is done but ill go either way. I think sooner the better for league activity and more board conversations though.

i voted for end of this season but that would be with conditions of say having REAL stats being counted to the point of the league starting up. I think those players deserve the Praise as well and it would be a bummer to have them be left out. If we are refusing to count those stats then 10 yrs probably next best option.

well how are we going to remeber the guys who started the league out and who were great at the start. Because I think it would be crazy if Jason Kidd and Steve NAsh were not in it because the years they did play were great.

i agree. Do we have back stats and can we get a list of the guys that have retired up to this point. Are they still searchable?
