1. Portland Trailblazers 10.1: The Trailblazers are back on top - however they still only have one championship they can claim despite consistently being the top team. Can they win another this year?
2. Charlotte Bobcats 8.45: The Bobcats won their first championship last year, but are as motivated as ever to win another after much debate in the off-season. They're poised to make another run.
3. Sacramento Kings 7.45: The Kings made the Finals again last year, but couldn't finish their improbable run. Baron Daivs is dissappointing again this year, but this team might not have to worry about PG with the talent they have everywhere else.
4. Seattle Supersonics 7.15: Seattle's reportedly close to completion on a big deal that would significantly change their team. If the deal goes through, it will be interesting to see how it affects their team.
5. Milwaukee Bucks 6.35: The Bucks aren't accustomed to a position this high in the rankings. Time will tell if they belong here or not, but they certainly appear to be playoff worthy this year.
6. Miami Heat 4.55: The Heat are the other team likely to change as a result of a trade with the Sonics. It's tough to say how this will impact them, but in all likelihood they are playoff-bound.
7. Cleveland Cavaliers 4.45: The Cavs have been making a habit of starting strong then fading down the stretch. Is this year's team for real? Somehow Patrick Patterson is blockng an incredible 4.7/game.
8. Detroit Pistons 4.4: The Pistons look to be a little weaker than last year's team. If they are the NBL champs this year, they will do so with the smallest guards ever in a championship lineup - Ty Lawson and AI are both 6'0" or less.
9. Philadelphia 76ers 2.85: After big off-season changes, the 76ers are playing well and could have an outside shot at a playoff berth. I'm not sure this team will keep it up, but they've exceeded expectations so far.
10. Indiana Pacers 2.8: The Pacers are benefiting from the play of #1 overall pick Anthony Randolph. They've got a playoff caliber team, but may still be a bit too young to go very deep.
11. Minnesota Timberwolves 2.75
12. New Jersey Nets 2.25
13. Golden State Warriors .7
14. LA Lakers .6
15. San Antonio Spurs - .35
