A few minor changes to the rankings since the last sim. Most teams are holding steady and their records reflect their high ranking in the Power Factor.
1. Portland Trailblazers 12.9 (LR 1st 10.1): The Trailblazers are widely considered the best team in the league though they flopped in the playoffs last year. They're out to prove they deserve to be considered the best team this year.
2. Charlotte Bobcats 10.85 ( LR 2nd 8.45): [/b]The Bobcats are starting to dominate with the league's 2nd best record. They appear to be on their way to another finals appearance. Can they be stopped?
3. Milwaukee Bucks 7.4 (LR 5th 6.35): The Bucks continue to climb the rankings and they are starting to pad their win total. They should start to scare some teams, their defense is unreal - two guys on the entire roster have less than A - defense and they see minimal playing time.
4. Sacramento Kings 7.3 ( LR 3rd 7.45): Not much change with the Kings, they're close to 3rd and really, they are likely the third best team in the league. Baron Davis is playing better, but it'd be nice if they could find an upgrade. Tough to do, but it might put them over the top.
5. Cleveland Cavaliers 6.7 (LR 7th 4.45): The Cavs look like they're putting it all together this year. LeBron finally has a strong supporting cast in Cleveland. Is it strong enough?
6. Detroit Pistons 6.35 (LR 8th 4.4): The Pistons are starting to come around, however their division is much more competitive than last year. I think they are about where they should be at the 6th spot.
7. Seattle Supersonics 5.9 (LR 4th 7.15): Seattle's had some struggles so far this year and the clock is sticking on a few of their veterans. Their lack of depth may hurting most - all five starters average 17 ppg or more but yet they are not winning as many games as you might think.
8. Miami Heat 4.6 ( LR 6th 4.55): The Heat always hang around and are currently on top the Atlantic division by a strong margin. They don't seem to have what it takes to go deep in the playoffs, however anything can happen especially with a player like Gordon.
9. Indiana Pacers 4.2 (LR 10 2.8): The Pacers have become another team to go from #1 overall pick to playoff team in one season. Randolph has really boosted this team's performance.
10. Atlanta Hawks 1.4 (LR - NR): The Hawks are finally starting to pull their talented roster together. They could be dangerous in the playoffs with their numerous wepaons on offense.
11. Washington Wizards 1.2
12. Los Angeles Clippers .15
13. Philadelphia 76ers .05
14. Golden State Warriors 0
15. Phoenix Suns -.05
