Denver Sends: Reggie Evans 2010 1st 2010 2nd
Milwaukee Sends: Nothing
I'm thinking there's gonna be a problem.. But if not, I agree to it. Gets him under the cap and gives me another pick I could use next season. But if there is a problem, let me know how I could fix it in time for him to get under the cap. Thanks!

lol the reason is: Im gonna lose a pick anyway, so why not lose the horrible contract as well. Evans is currently the worst player on my team also and gets paid 4 mil. This also makes me in a better position for next year, so i can stay under the hard cap.

I just meant there might be a problem because I'm not exactly sure of the hard cap rules, like if salaries have to match with a hard cap, as long as you stay under..

Reggie Evans is the only player possible id give to be able to stay under

I understand all of that completely, and as long as it's still in the rules, it's cool with me. I'm just saying I don't know if salaries have to match when a hard cap is in effect. But if not, then cool.

Milwaukee doesn't have the cap room to add on Evans "for free". So trade is invalid

Eric would be correct. Im actually fine with a team giving nothing back as long as both agree with a deal, however salaries must be legal in order for the deal to go through.

He is right, it only works if the accepting team is under the cap. Milwaukee isn't, so you would have to match salaries.
