I like the talent of Boozer as opposed to Lee and Richardson. Carney was good but hes expring and Tyler has better potential if you ask me. Good dealing with you Raps

I thought they didn't need to match with a hard cap?

No, a hard cap is just a number you can NEVER exceed. The soft cap still applies to teams when it comes to cap room, trades and signings.

I understand that, I thought that the salaries matching rule just changed with a hard cap. It's not like that in baseball.

Baseball has luxury tax, but football has a hard cap. And in the rules for NFL's hard cap, it says nothing about them having to be matching. Could we get just a more in-depth explanation for it? Because the hard cap in NFL doesn't put cutting players against you. You don't have to pay their contract. So is it more like NFL or is gonna be just like NBA, just with a hard cap instead of the soft cap?

Bucks, you are trying to compare other sports that are totally unrelated. The NBA has it's own rules for how they define a hard and soft cap, and how teams can trade.
