This is an example of how we would like you to bid on players in the off season Free Agency.
Team: Bulls Player: Dajuan Wagner Contract Length: 3 years First Year Salary: 3 Million Contract % Increased every year: 3 percent
This is how we will do free agency every off season. Make sure to get your bids in every day before we run a live free agency day in the game. As you can see on the schedule, there are 6 days. Free Agency also doesnt begin until Thursday 10/6. So you have over a week before this even begins. I just wanted to post this so anyone who has any questions can see how we want your bids to be done. All bids will be PMed to me. Any other questions please pm me.

Max of 10% and minimum of 0% raises? Do you have any maximum years for different contract values or anything?

Never thought if it. Me and Scott will talk about it and post an update to that question.

I think the max and min raises are NBA rules...you get 12% raises if you have 3 Bird years maybe...there's some special case where 12% is allowed.
the max years would be just to protect against cheap 1M/7yr contracts on good players in the inactive years...maybe that's not a problem, but that's your and Scott's call.

It's built into the game for free agency. Players will take the best offers, and they will decline all offers if none are what they want. This is one good thing about the game, their free agency interface is actually decent when it comes to applying to a league. You can't simply take all players for cheap because nobody else bids due to inactivity. This is different when we get to in-season FA, everyone signs for the minimum, 1 year deal.
As for Jeff and I bidding, I will be sending my offers to him BEFORE we look at other people's, and he will be doing to same. Basically, our bids will be done before we see yours, so that we can't simply offer slightly more and sign the player, if you know what I mean.

can we put in bids on numerous guys even if say we have only ONE roster spot.... If then say 2 guys except our deals could we then just cut someone or are we automatically going to incure a penality.... Example... i bid on Oneal and Brand just for shits and giggles then they both except my offer but im at 14 guys on my team... what happens... I know that i for one want those two and would have no issue cutting a lessor guy... is that an option... can we do that.... i sorta dont want to cut certain players before i know that im getting certain guys but i also want to bid on more then one or two guys....

Yes, the first that signs will take up the spot. The game automatically voids the rest I believe.

Would have to cut him first, it's too much work to let everyone have contingencies.
