We are well aware that some rosters hold more than the maximum number of players allowed by FBB. In these cases, the players are in free agency, and have parenthesis with the team who owns their rights. Teams must cut their roster down to 15 players by training camp (roughly a week). In order to do this, you may do the following:
1. Cut the player. Any player making less than 2 million dollars over the next 2 years can be cut for free, any deal longer than 2 years or exceeding 2 million total over the next 2 years will count against the cap if you wish to cut them. (This does not apply to the 4 free years you have to release, if you want to use this to get you under the roster limit, by all means do so).
2. Trade the player. Teams may trade any player their organization owns. I will post the contracts of all players in parenthesis as these will be applied to all trading rules.
3. Waive the player. This is essentially the same as cutting a player, but by waiving him, it gives other teams 24 hours to claim him. If unclaimed after that time, he becomes subject to regular cut rules and will be applied to the cap. He will then be an unrestricted free agent able to sign with any team.
