Associated Press The hits keep on coming as two more players have declared their intentions to enter the 2010 NBL Draft. University of Florida Junior Nick Calathes and Argentinian Matias Nocedal are the latest to enter in what is believed to be a very perplexing draft. SG Nick Calathes, Florida - The brother of free agent Pat Calathes, Nick is a very gifted player, both with and without the ball. He has an uncanny ability to create space for his shot, and unlike many spot up shooters he can handle the rock and score from anywhere on the floor. Any team needing a dagger from the arc, Nick is the guy. However, Nick is still thin and can't handle bigger players at SG defensively. He lacks strength and quickness, and won't be a threat to rebound. His handling will be adequate enough from the position. Stats: 22 years old, 6'6, 190 lbs NBL Comparison: Jamal Crawford Draft Projection: 1st round PG Matias Nocedal, Argentina - Nocedal is the complete package, and much like Ricky Rubio a year ago, he brings great knowledge and intensity to the court. Nocedal is an athletic freak with a knack for disrupting any defensive scheme with his quick driving ability and fantastic passing. Give him time and he will also bolt right past you. The only negatives to his game at this point are on the defensive end where he struggles to match the physical intensity of stronger players, and in his toughness which many question the improvement of when he enters a much more physical American style of play. Stats: 20 years old, 6'3, 195 lbs NBL Comparison: Ricky Rubio Draft Projection: Top 10
