Since we don't have much to celebrate in New Jersey, I am writing the second installment to cover sim 3 and 4.
Day 21 (Knicks) - here comes that beast Howard and Koufus so not much expected from Frye. Surprisingly he scores 22, grabs 14 boards and even blocks 4 shots. Howard fouls out in just 22 minutes. I think Frye did his job. Howard was very good in 22 minutes but then he was out which weakens the team defense.
Day 22 (@sonics) - the Sonics have a much of young mainly defensive centers. Frye gets his 18 points on just 13 shots and grabs 13 boards but not a lot of free throws. Sonics centers hold their own but Frye was the best center in this game.
Day 23 (@hawks) - Sheldon and Zaza are not super stars but I guess respectable. Frye goes to the line 11 times in a vintage Frye game and scores 22. Hawks centers were shutdown.
Day 24 (Kings) - big Hawes is back in town. He is another beast similar to Howard but not yet as good. Frye is in foul trouble and gets only 14 points, missing 4 of 5 free throws. Hawes is held to 13 so it was a push.
Day 25 (Pacers) - 7th game in a row and the troops are tired. Here comes Bogut so Frye will have his hands full on defense. He holds Bogut to 4 of 19 shooting, not sure how he did that but I guess his defense is under rated. Bogut holds him to 16 points but on a much better percentage. I guess the offensive centers came out to play D today.
Day 27 (76ers) - Dalembert is an active defender but he is slow so maybe Frye can out speed him. Dalembert fouls out and scores 14 points but grabs only 4 boards. Frye goes to the line 18 times and puts up 39 points. On a side note, Jason Smith plays 27 minutes at center when Dalembert fouls out and comes up with just 4 points. This was huge domination.
Day 28 (Bulls) - Wallace is back in town. Superior defender and quick enough to stay with Frye. No surprise Ben does nothing on offense. He does shut Frye down as he scores just 13 and turns it over 5 times.
Day 31 (@celtics) - Hollins is an awful center for the green machine and gets held to 4 points in 42 minutes. He does however hold Frye to 4 of 19 shooting and 5 more turnovers so I guess Hollins did his job.
Day 33 (@lakers) - here comes the young fellows Bynum and Gasol. Frye has an average game with 23 points and actually not a lot of free throws. The young guys do ok, scoring 20 between them.
Day 34 (Bucks) - Randolph Morris is in town. He scores 19 but fouls out. Frye goes to the line 19 times for 26 points.
Day 35 (@bulls) - here comes big Ben again. 5 more turnovers for Frye but does shoot better as he goes 5 for 11 and 10 more free throw attempts. Big Ben has his hands full so he only blocks 2 shots and does nothing on offense.
Day 36 (@pistons) - Rookie Robin Lopez gets 10 points but he can't hold Frye. Frye gets 29 points (11 free throws) and a monster 17 boards.
Day 37 (Bobcats) - we know we have problems with Okafor. But he only plays 15 minutes as he in foul trouble scoring just 6 points and his backups scores 5. Frye gets 30 (14 more free throws) and grabs 17 boards as he dominates the Cats.
Day 38 (Warriors) - the Warriors play a fast game and Wright is a good defender. But Frye dominates him too with 38 points (15 more free throws) but only 3 boards.
Day 39 (Hawks) - the Hawks are back and last time Frye embarrased them. This time Sheldon Williams scores 16 in 28 minutes. However Frye again dominates them with 35 points. That makes 3 straight games of 30 or more for Frye.
After 4 sims it seems like Frye can hold his own against most of the big lumbering centers and dominates anyone his size. His trouble comes with guys that are strong but not lumbering like and Okafor.
