1. Detroit Pistons - PF Blake Griffin, Oklahoma - Griffin is the most complete player, can score inside, outside, rebound and defend. The Pistons need another impact guy, and getting one at PF isn't bad.
2. New Jersey Nets - Gerald Henderson Jr., Duke - Henderson is an impact scorer right away, and with a little seasoning he can be a number one scoring option. The Nets are picking high, but they have some talent, so this could go a few different ways.
3. Orlando Magic (from Dallas) - C Andrew Ogilvy, Vanderbilt - The Nets love the foreign players, and although Ogilvy is a collegiate, he is a good scorer and should become a great rebounder. He isn't a defensive force yet, but is a good fit for Orlando.
4. Minnesota Timberwolves - PF Patrick Patterson, Kentucky - Patterson should be able to start right away if Jefferson is moved back to his natural center position. Patrick can rebound and defend, and with some help, can be a #1/2 type scorer.
5. Washington Wizards - SF Danilo Gallinari, Italy - Gallinari is a guy who won't wow you with athleticism, but he can shoot outside and score inside. Other options would be center or power forward, but SF is an immediate hole they could fill here.
6. Atlanta Hawks - C Marresse Speights, Florida - Speights is average in every facet and with development can be a dominant big man. Atlanta has some options however, they could go best available or move Bosh to center and draft a power forward.
7. Milwaukee Bucks - PF J.J. Hickson, North Carolina State - Hickson is a complete steal at 7 if he falls, and it would give the Bucks the elite player they have always wanted. I'm not sure if he falls, but it would be a great pickup.
8. Seattle Sonics - SG Russell Westbrook, UCLA - The Sonics are loaded, but SG is a weakness, and the athletic Westbrook fills other needs besides scoring. He can upstart this team to become a true contender.
9. Cleveland Cavaliers - C JaVale McGee, Nevada - Although it might be a reach here, but center is a weak position, and with Cleveland losing Z and Gooden, it will be a need. McGee can be developed into a talented big man, questions just arise on whether he gets the time.
10. Golden State Warriors - PF Wayne Chism, Tennessee - The Warriors already have Brandon Wright, but looking at their roster, they could use serious depth in the frontcourt and shooting the three. Chism should fill in nicely for a departed Antoine Walker.
11. Orlando Magic (from Utah) - SF Victor Claver, Italy - This is simply a guess pick, with no real need, the Magic will take Claver here if he is available. His shooting should provide depth off the bench, and rumors are Beasley might be traded.
12. Orlando Magic - PG Matias Nocedal, Argentina - Another guess pick, the Magic take Nocedal and consider moving Navarro or moving Nocedal to SG. Stephen Jackson is gone, so it makes some sense.
13. Houston Rockets - PF Derrick Caracter, Louisville - The Rockets definitely need rebounding, and Caracter can do that. He doesn't have to score, and with Beverley, McGrady and Ming around him, the fit here is perfect.
Stay tuned, things may change before draft day, but here is just something for your reading pleasure.
