As the postseason bears dwon upon us, it's time to take another look at the Power Factor:
1. Charlotte Bobcats: Total Score = 16.1 (PR #1 Score 17)
The Bobcats are holding steady with their scary 16.1 total score. They've dominated the Power Factor rankings all season long - they look like they're hungry for a NBL Title.
2. Denver Nuggets: Total Score = 8.25 (PR #2 Score 10.65)
They don't have the talent of the Bobcats, but they're still one of the most talented teams in the NBL. They're hoping their veteran leadership will count for something this postseason.
3. Portland Trailblazers: Total Score = 7.9 (PR # 3 Score 7.9)
The Trailblazers maintained exactly the same score they had the last Power Factor. With their talent they might have a chance to upset the Nuggets and advance to the Finals for a Bobcat/Blazer showdown.
4. Memphis Grizzlies: Total Score = 5.3 (PR # 4 Score 5.75)
The Grizzlies maintained their fourth spot, and look like they'll be able to challenge for a post in the Finals with one of the deeper rosters you'll find in the NBL.
4. Miami Heat: Total Score = 5.3 (PR # 5 Score 4.8)
The Heat continue to lead the East Division despite challenges from the upstart 76ers and the Knicks. It will come down to the last game of the season before we'll know who's victorious.
6. NY Knicks: Total Score = 5.15 (PR #6 Score 4.15)
The Knicks are still battling in the one division in the NBL without a truly dominant team. It helped the Knicks get all the way to the Finals last year, though this years team doesn't look as strong as last years.
7. Phoenix Suns: Total Score = 5 (PR #10 Score 2.55)
They have two great players and a bunch of medicore supporters. It's good enough to get them in the playoffs though they should have a quick exit.
8. Boston Celtics: Total Score 3.35 (PR #8 Score 3.55)
They're very similar to the Suns, though their great players are older and have lost more of their ability than the Suns two great ones have.
9. San Antonio Spurs: Total Score 1.5 (PR # 9 Score 2.9)
They'vemaintained their ranking all season long due to the Duncan-Parker show. Curry is a nice third option this year though they don't have much else beyond that.
10. Toronto Raptors: Total Score .55 (PR #12 Score .85)
This team is the new Knicks. Their loaded with talent but aren't using it the most efficient way possible. They're over the sal cap and their manager just walked away from the team in the middle of the season. What should be a playoff team is now looking at watching the playoffs from home.
11. 76ers (.4)
12. Cavaliers (.15)
13. Lakers (-.25)
15. Bulls (-.45)
