No bidding on him until the offseason. He is just created for people to get an early scouting report.

Guess he never got the offer that he wanted since he is still in FA.
So can people keep bidding or will he return to Russia and try again next year?
I assume by then he may be 2 inches taller.

Wow thats kinda sucks i guess im glad i went another direction this season or maybe he was just waiting on me and thats why he turned down all you guys. Does everyone that bid on him still lose the ten ATCs. I DO THINK THAT IT SHOULD BE PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE WHO USED ATCS on him.

First off, no it doesnt have to be public knowledge, people need to learn to butt out of everyones business so much in this league. I think I do a pretty good job of keeping the league in the loop for the most part. However as of right now I am not docking anyone atc's.

haha agreed. they run a very good league and that shows a complete lack of trust in them by saying that it should be public knowledge

no it doesnt i just wanted to know how many teams went after him. If there is a big FA in real life its not like every team doesnt know whos going after him or whos offered him a contract. im not asking $ amounts just basically whos offered a deal. has nothing to do with trust it was just a question.

It IS like every team doesn't know who's going after a guy...they're private negotiations

The bidding is going to be slightly different next year, but to be frank, George didn't get the offer he was looking for, and we can "pretend" that he simply is staying overseas.

next year would it be too much to ask to see what kind of numbers he wants as far as contract demands. Like a price his agent puts out there like in real life. Because since he is a FA and has never been in the NBL I dont think the NBL gm's ae getting the idea of the type of contract he wants and its kinda BS to keep wasting ATC's when you have no idea what ball park he is in.

I think the ATC thing made GM's so gunshy that they didn't even try.
