Associated PressI'm sure by now everyone has heard of the UNC-Asheville phenom Kenny George, but what many don't know is after graduating college in 2009, George went over to Russia to work on his game in the Russian Basketball Super League. Due to his giantism, George has grown to an amazing 7 feet, 8 inches tall, and now weighs 370 pounds. Two years ago he couldn't run the court or shoot the basketball, but he has improved his game and is looking to cash in by coming to the United States and entering free agency after the 2010 season. C Kenny George, CSKA Moscow via UNC-Asheville - George's size is unmatched, and his post defense might be the same. He will block shots at an unheard of rate, and when he's in the middle, nobody will go through him. He is still pretty slow, so offensively he won't thrive in a fast-paced system. However, he is strong as an ox and if he catches the ball with position, consider it 2 points. He has developed decent range from about 8-10 feet, which allows him to not just stand inside and risk 3 second calls. Stats: 26 years old, 7'8, 370 lbs Criteria: George's representatives asked us to announce this a year early so people could prepare their cap space to make an offer. They have set forth a 10 ATC starting cost to negotiate with George (AKA make a FA bid on him). He only wants a deal for 2 or 3 years, as he feels he is getting better and might be able to cash in on an even larger deal after a few years in the NBL. Stay tuned...more to come during the 2010 season.

Do they realize that ATCs have no cash value . I can see him demanding special training where you use the 10 ATCs on him but seems odd that they want NLB specific credits. Is he planning to trade them for more food or something?
