With Free Agency in mid swing for the 2010 season, we take a look at what could be one of the most talented Free Agency we have seen thus far in the NBL. We will take a look at 10 of the most sought after talents that could be free agents going into next years off season..
Spencer Hawes(Kings)
Last season hawes posted nearly 16 points a game, while also getting around 10 boards a game. A good center in free agency will go for a lot.
Pau Gasol(Grizzlies)
Last year Pau averaged just over 34 points a game, a grabbing over 10 rebounds a game, while yearly participating in the All Star game. In his final year he will make over 17 million. It will be interesting to see how much an extension would be. Could be more than the Grizzlies are looking to spend.
Jermaine O'Neal(Heat)
One player who got a one year deal, O'Neal could once again slip into free agency next season. Last year O'Neal averaged nearly 18 points and 12 rebounds a game.
Amare Stoudamire(Jazz)
Last year Stoudamire put up 27.3 points per game while getting almost 10 rebounds a game. He also will make over 17 million this year.
Greg Oden(Trailblazers)
What a fantastic player Oden has come to be. One of the most dominating players iun the NBL right now, while last year scoring over 24 a game and grabbing on average 14 rebounds a game. I dont see him slipping through to Free Agency but who know.
Branden Wright(Warriors)
Wright is a player that will always average a double, double with points and rebounding, but in a contract year, I would bet this will be one of his better years, and will for sure be making more money after this seasons done then his current contract at just over 3 million.
Jeff Green(Sonics)
Green on paper with all theese stars doesnt look like the best, but if he makes it through to Free Agency will make a huge splash. Last year he averaged nearly 16 points, and 8 rebounds a game.
Randolph Morris(Bucks)
Morris is a type of player that looks like an all star but just isnt playing that way yet. Last year averaged nearly 11 points and 9 rebounds a game. Nothing bad at all. He has a ton of potential however and if he makes it into free agency will make more than id assume then hes being paid now which is over 11 million.
Elton Brand(Pistons)
Elton just signed a huge 20 million dollar contract for one year. Over paid for sure, but thats the price to sign a true all star for just one season. I would think Brand would get a long term deal but who knows.
Kevin Garnett(Celtics)
Garnett the last couple of seasons has gotten one year deals, gicing him a nice contract every year, but you have to think at some point will get a long term deal or be let to just walk, or even a trade. With a new Gneral Manager hired just days ago I would assume the way the Celtics have done business in the past is just that...in the past.
Shawn Marion(Kings)
Marion was just traded to the Kings within 24 hours. I would assume with that trade will come an extension. Ill be very suprised to see him go, but if he does it will be an interesting scenerio. Marion last season averaged 21 points and 12 rebounds a game last season with the Suns.
Dirk Nowitzki(Nuggets)
Dirk last year averaged 11 points and nearly 10 rebounds a game last year. Not worth what he makes this year, which is over 21 million, but not bad at all. This might be one player that will ask for what hes paid now, but just might not be worth it the second time around.
Kevin Durant(Sonics)
With Oden, Durant has had a great career thus far. Participating in the All Star game every year, and put up 27 points and 8 rebounds last year. He like Oden will for sure be getting a much needed pay day.
LeBron James(Cavaliers)
One of the best players in the league has a shot to go to free agency, but players like James very rarley go to Free Agency. I would assume this will be the case here as well. James last season scored over 31 a game and grabbed 8 boards a game.
Ray Allen(Celtics)
Ray last season scored over 21 a game and had nearly 6 rebounds with 4 assists. If he askes for any kind of deal like hes being paud now, I wouldnt think he would fall in free agency, but the Celtics have a lot to do as this seaosn ends.
Kobe Bryant(Lakers)
Kobe is one part of the two headed monster in LA. Who is one of the best in the league along with his partner Wade. The Lakers will have to think about signing on, signing both or trading one. It might be the biggest story going into this next year, so watch out. Kobe last season avaeraged 36 points and 7 rebounds with the Lakers.
Dwayne Wade(Lakers)
Wade like Kobe is the same exact catagory. Last year he averaged nearly 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists a game.
Daniel Gibson(Cavaliers)
Gibson has been the counterpart for James for 2 seasons now, and will be asking for a big pay day comming up. Last year averaged 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists a game.
Mike Conely Jr.(Grizzlies)
Mike is a young point guard that will only be getting better, and will be asking for a nice payday this year. Last season averaged 14.5 a game, while grabbing 5 rebounds and 8 assists a game.
Devin Harris(Mavericks)
Dervin is another point guard who seems to score under the radar perhaps with some of theese players but maybe shouldnt. Last seasons coring 13 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Harris is a player that is very well rounded.
Allen Iverson(Warriors)
Iverson is another player that has gotten a lot of 1 year deals in the past. This off season he got another from the Warriors, making over 11 million this season. Last year the former Georgetown standout scored 23 points a game, while getting 9 assists as well. As he nears the end of his carrer Iverson has showed he still can ball.
Yao Ming(Rockets)
Yao is a great Center that if goes to Free Agency will be one of the biggest pickups in history. Last year Ming averaged 29 points and 10 boards a game.
Chris Bosh(Hawks)
If Chris makes it through Chris is another pure All Star. Chris last year scored 23 points and 11 rebounds a game. Enough stats right there to generate a huge payday at the end of this season. We will see if the Hawks tie him up or let him go.
Spencer Hawes(Kings)
Last season hawes posted nearly 16 points a game, while also getting around 10 boards a game. A good center in free agency will go for a lot.
