Not to question your religious beliefs but I can't debate about the antichrist solving or creating problems since to me that is like the boogy man.
As for Iraq having money, I am not sure about that. Some of the corrupt may have money but as a country I am not sure they have the ability to stand up and just take care of business because a lot of political influence is torn in many different directions.
As for Russia. The big difference to me between Russia / China and Iran is that Russia / China are pushing an ideology (communism / socialism) and are trying to rule the world financially. States like Iran just want to kill anyone and everyone that is against their religious beliefs. So yes, Israel is target #1 but I think all the people looking to get out of the middle east and let it settle itself do not realize or want to admit that after Israel the next target is going to be Jews, Christians, Buddhist, Hindus and anyone else including other Muslims that do not stand by the same ideologies as Iran.
This is a problem as the rulers in the middle east are usually mad men so they scare me a lot more then Russia ever did.

Have you filled up your gas tank lately? Iraq is loaded with oil surplus. If the government officials are still corrupt then we should clean house before leaving.

Not even the USA could fight a war with Israel and hope to win it. The US would get the worse defeat imaginable.
It also might not be Islam but there is a one-world religion coming that you will either have to accept and join or refuse and die.
Russia, China and Iran want the same thing to be a global super power that all nations including the US has to bow down to. They might go about it in different way or at least appear to but the ultimate goal is the same.
I tried to keep religion out of it but when your dealing with the Middle East it is hard to since the whole situation is about religion.
This is a problem as the rulers in the middle east are usually mad men so they scare me a lot more then Russia ever
Jealously normally turns even the most sane men into mad men

What ever religion you are referring to as becoming the one world religion via force may want to get in line behind the Muslims as they are the only ones currently making a strong bid for that title.
BTW I am not Muslim I just see the amount of influence they are having in Europe and the Middle East.

It very well might be Muslim. However the antichrist is coming who people will see as Jesus and will demand for people to worship him. Choose not to and he will kill you. Also to buy or sell in that time you will have to have accepted the antichrist

if you want to see something scary and hits close to home look up www.spp.gov/they say it is not about merging mexico, canada and the US but everything thing that i have seen and heard says it is. A man by the name of Robert Pastor is behind it all and wants what europe has in the eurpean union. Robert Pastor is also the man behind the selling of the panama canal back to panama. I know this is off subject and feel free to ignore this if you want.

So to me, if this is the only logical reason to change our Iraq policy then I can't buy into it. By this logic we can really just dismantle the army, stop working and basically just wait.

I am not basing my political view on my religion either. I just know that iraq will never be what you would call a democratic country. the best iraq can become is probabblly russia. I want the US out of iraq because we are still funding a country who when it comes down to it doesnt give a darn what happens to the US.

I see it as funding a country that helps us balance the powers in the Middle East.
The speeches of the US trying to make other nations into democracies are propaganda for the average American. A majority of the wars we get into have nothing to do with our love of democracy and the need to spread it. Nobody is in Iraq thinking they will become a mini US. We are in their to protect oil and keep a balance of power.
A majority of the fights during the cold war were about a balance of power and military positioning and not democracy vs. communism.
You can give up Iraq today but then what do you want to give up tomorrow? Next Iran will want Israel and then maybe part of Europe. Will you only want to stand up once its Kansas or Iowa or some other US state?

Iran would be a parking lot if they attacked israel not even the US is capable of fighting israel and winning.
Will you only want to stand up once its Kansas or Iowa or some other US state? yes only if its a part of the US would i want to get involved. Israel is the only country i care about outside the US and its all relgious why i care about israel.

I am a big fan of the IDF but I am not sure why you keep claiming that no army including the US stands a chance.
Unfortunatly shear numbers and nuclear weapons can quickly level the playing field between a country like Israel who has superior troops and one like the US, Russia, China or Iran.
As far as only helping if the attack is on the US or Israel, this is probably a silly mantra if you believe in a global economy.
Unfortunatly the actions of many countries deeply effect what happens to the US so we can't ignore other parts of the world.

Will you only want to stand up once its Kansas or Iowa or some other US state? israel has 150+ nukes, iran has no chance to take them over. the only reason people worry about iran is because the mainstream media tells us to

The problem with nukes is its not how many you have. Israel is smaller then most states so one nuke and one crazy man is more then enough.
Maybe with 150 they can retaliate and wipe out most of their enemies but that wouldn't help them or anyone that plans to inhabit the Middle East in the next 1000 or so years.
Also, with nukes its not always the threat that they will be used that buys these maniacs bargaining power but the threat that they could be used. Iran will gain a lot of political power just by saying that they have a way to destroy Israel as the uneducated Arabs looking for just that will rally behind this notion and countries like the US will fear a man like that because they don't want the nuke pointed at us.

anyone else strongly dislike israel?

It's not really a dislike, more a feeling of helplessness about past handling of the whole situation.
